Computer History ocn contemporary
Digital dreams is a computer historic art exhibition about the Internet's emergence, the gaming industry and the computer in art. Current exhibitions in varying themes; contemporary art, fashion & design, photography, and current social issues.
Art and culture
Art Department includes everything from international 1500 Century of Swedish contemporary art. In the historical exhibition you can see skeletons from the grave that where found in Bergsrondellen along with Oscar Nilsson's stunning reconstructions of the three people who were buried there.
Activities for all
Östergötland museum is located in a fantastic functionalist building from 1939 in central Linköping. We host activities almost every day of the week. Everything from lectures, demonstrations and buggy tours to talk about art, nördcafér and children's parties. All ages can find something in the range.
Creativity may flower
The museum's creative workshop Rutan rampant creativity. Here, both adults and children can try different artistic techniques. Yoga in art environment and open life drawing is also included in the museum's programming.
Shop with a wide selection
The museum shop has a wide range and there are always articles related to current exhibitions. Handicrafts from Östergötland, design objects, different gifts, books and jewelry are other things that are on sale.
Hagdahls Kitchen
The restaurant Hagdahls Kitchen are serving weekdayslunch and in the summer is the roof terrace open.
