burial ground in Mjölby. The field has been used as burial ground for about 1000 years. It contains several stone circles, tridents, standing stones and burial mounds. The oldest parts of the northern part and there are cists been found from the late Stone Age.
Hospitalet in SkanningeSight / Skänninge, Mjölby
Sweden's oldest known "hospital" for lepers. Spetälskehospitalet is probably from the early 1300s. Today, you can see the ruins of the chapel that belonged to the hospital. Amidst the ruin stands a cross that is visible from the road. Even two rune stands next to the site.
Saint Ingrid´s conventSight / Skänninge, Mjölby
The 1281 became Sweden's first female Dominicans convention founded. Today at Saint Ingrid convent you can see a covered basement, and the remains of a well, and cross aisles and church grounds. There is also a model which describes the convent in the 1400 centuries.
